“Quality”

The quality system at PMS is based since many years on a process-focused organization, supported by a modern informative managerial system that attributes a great value to the human resources and is inspired to the most rigorous quality engineering criteria.

A very strong point of the business success is the constant technological implementation of the technical equipment and the machines. This is necessary to keep pace with the changes and the continuous evolution in the field of turning and reach the objective of a steady improvement of the working quality.

In our business philosophy we think that a high quality product can only be manufactured using High-Tech machinery that are controlled by means of advanced and reliable test and measuring instruments.

To such scope we are using different direct and artificial vision systems such as: optical devices, laser, hybrids and standard (profilometer and roundness measuring instrument Taylor Hobson, 3D Dea optical gauges, profile projectors etc).

The production lines are equipped with a centralized data processing system, including control islands with terminals linked to the different working machines and to the relevant control instruments (SPC).

Some of the automatic control technologies in the production lines are integrated in the working cycles.

Following the requirement of he customer and the type of component, the control can be by sampling or on 100% of the pieces, in order to guarantee Zero Defects also with very high production speed.

The Company is very sensitive about the qualitative aspects and is therefore certified according to the norm UNI ISO 9001:2000 by the TÜV, approval agency. Environmental protection and health of the workers are other important aspects of the company policy and we are therefore implementing the norm UNI EN ISO 14001.
