“Precision Mechanical Working Technologies”

Torneria P.M.S. is specialized in the turning of parts under drawing of the customer, in the processing of mechanical parts through grinding, milling, thread cutting and rolling, in the production of endless screws and in mechanical working with machining centres.

The machine range dedicated to turning includes today following units:

• CNC twin spindle lathes, up to 6 axis
• CNC single spindle lathes
• CNC lathes served by anthropoid robots
• CNC unit with 2 single spindle lathes equipped with gantry loader and parts storage system
• CNC lathes with mobile headstock, up to 10 axis
• CNC multi trolley lathes, up to 8 axis
• 1 multi-spindle

Aiming at the diversification of the production and to satisfy the demand of some main customers, Torneria PMS has introduced some new high technological NC machine tools for the production of:

• Endless Screws obtained through orbital thread forming using a specific NC machine (Leistritz)
• Endless Screws obtained through rolling using a specific NC rolling machine for bars up to 3 meters long and equipped with automatic loader.
• Turning lines for moulds, equipped with NC lathes and machining centres, fully automatic and served by anthropoid robots.

At Torneria PMS are also following machines for reclaim works available:

• Transfer with two operating units
• Transfer with four operating units
• Centerless grinding

The washing of the components is a very important phase of the production cycle, consequently Torneria PMS has equipped the production lines with a special closed circuit solvent cleaning system.

Torneria PMS is also very sensitive to the environmental aspects and has therefore installed an automatic chips deoiling system.
